Ihre dänische Herkunft erklärt die Verwandtschaft ihrer Stücke mit dem nordischen Klavierjazz und doch scheint sie sich mit skurrilen Mitteln davon immer wieder weit weg zu begeben.\u003cbr\u003e Aus dieser Konstellation ist eine eigenwillige Soundästhetik mit langgezogenen Bögen entstanden. Auf dem Debut Album von LUUMU ist von simplen folkliedartigen Melodien hin zu fast freien Teilen alles zu hören.
